At a time when gamers are turning their attention to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the maker of gamepad accessories for Android, MOGA, has quietly released a new version of the game controller that will work with iPhone and iPod touch having Lightning connector.

The game controller, Ace Power, hit the shelves November 20 and is the first to work in tandem with iOS 7's enhanced GameController API.

Ace Power retails for $99 and is available at Apple retail stores, Apple online stores and MOGA's site.

However, note that the controller is compatible with Lighting connector, which means only those who have bought iPhone 5 or later models can use it. The controller will also support fifth-generation iPod touch. A game controller for iPad is in the pipeline too.

Ace Power is powered by a 1,800mAh battery that ensures you can playing your favorite games on long road trips.

Inputs like two joysticks, a D-pad, A, B, X and Y buttons, and L1, R1, L2 and R2 shoulder buttons are all present on the controller.

Overall, a fairly good controller but the build quality could have been better. Interested in getting one? Head over here
