Mariah Carey's "I don't know her" response to a question about Jennifer Lopez is one of the Internet's most popular memes. Now, after a new Watch What Happens Live interview in which Andy Cohen questioned her about the incident, the meme was given new life, as Mariah repeated her famous statement again.

The genesis of the meme occurred during an interview with the pop diva over a decade ago. After kind words about Beyonce, when asked what she thinks of Lopez, Mariah responds simply with, "I don't know her," but it's the slight smirk and twinkle in her eye telling us that she's thinking a lot more than she's saying that drives the meme's popularity.

Carey recently brought up the meme in a print interview in which she was asked about fan gifts she had received. She proceeds to mention a T-shirt emblazoned with her picture and the quote underneath, and professes not to understand what all the fuss is about, claiming that she "was just being honest."

Now, in a new interview that just aired on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen once again asks Carey about her statement, given that Lopez has stated in recent interviews that she did, in fact, know Carey, whom she told Wendy Williams on her talk show, "must be forgetful."

Carey, clearly aware of Lopez's "forgetful" dig, pointedly used the word repeatedly in her response to Cohen.

"Apparently, I'm forgetful ... because I don't remember the fact that it was just like, 'Hi, I'm so and so.' And then move on ..."

She goes on to explain that if someone asks about someone she really doesn't know, she is not going to say "I know him" but will instead say, "I don't know him, but he seems cool." Then comes the kicker.

When Cohen asks if Lopez seems cool, Mariah evades a direct answer by going full circle, and once again summoning her quote heard 'round the world, "I don't know her," accompanied by a telling facial expression that is sure to grace many Internet GIF meme for years to come.
