In October 2015, developer Polyphony Digital announced that the long-standing PlayStation-exclusive racing franchise Gran Turismo was coming to the PlayStation 4.

Gran Turismo Sport would feature highly evolved graphics and sound quality, along with a revamped physics engine. The game will also tie up with the real world FIA Gran Turismo Championship.

There was no information released regarding the game's release date, which has kept Gran Turismo fans anxiously waiting. For those who are still waiting, Polyphony has finally announced a release date for Gran Turismo Sport, along with details on how to preorder the title.

Gran Turismo Sport is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15 in North America, which is just more than a year from when the game was first announced.

Gamers who preorder the title will be able to avail early access to a three-car package that includes the Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car, the Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Group 3 and the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP LMP1. In addition to the these vehicles, customers can also get additional bonuses depending on where they place their preorder.

Those who preorder through GameStop will also gain early access to the Chevrolet Corvette Group 3 and the Nissan NISMO GT-R GT3 N24. While those who preorder through the PlayStation Store will also receive Gran Turismo-themed avatars for PS4, a dynamic theme based on Gran Turismo Sport and in-game credits worth $500,000. Lastly, preorders made through Amazon will also come with in-game credits worth $500,000.

Polyphony also announced the Gran Turismo Sport Limited Edition, which will be carrying a price tag of $69.99, but will contain more than $129 in additional content. The bonus content includes a starter pack that has eight cars on various race classes, in-game credits worth $1 million, the Livery Sticker pack, 30 PS4 avatars based on Gran Turismo Sport, an in-game racing helmet and a limited edition Steelbook case.

For gamers who are really excited for the game, keep on watching for the beta version of Gran Turismo Sport, which was said to be ready for launch early this year.
