New artwork for Justice League Action has been revealed, and it shows more than a handful of characters that could be joining Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman on the show.

At the Kre8tif! conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Twitter user Batpedia spotted the new artwork as it was featured in the event. A closer inspection of the slide shows several characters from Justice League Action, confirming who fans can come to expect.

At the top row, we have who appears to be the Blue Beetle, followed by the Riddler (the character is actually difficult to identify, but we'll go with the suit and spectacles as telltale clues), Doctor Fate, Shazam, Doctor Light, Mr. Terrific and the Joker.

These characters are then followed by Killer Croc, Firestorm, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter in the middle row, with Big Barda, an unknown caped character (could be Count Vertigo, Ra's al Ghul or Zatarra?), Harley Quinn, Hawkman, Lobo, Satan Girl and who is likely Black Mask (with an obscured head) rounding them out in the bottom row.

In addition to being more or less a confirmation of the characters that will be appearing in Justice League Action, the artwork also shows changes to the looks of Lobo and Harley Quinn. Lobo, for instance, is moving away from how he has been recently portrayed, as a thin, svelte killer in the comics, while Harley Quinn is defaulting to how she appeared originally in Paul Dini and Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series: in a classic harlequin clown costume.

Justice League Action was announced in January, and will feature some of the most beloved of voice actors to give life to DC's animated characters, like Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as the Joker, Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold and James Woods as Lex Luthor.

"Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes are up to any challenge," wrote DC Comics.

Justice League Action will be the second DC Animated Series showing on Cartoon Network, joining Teen Titans Go! It's set to premiere in the fall of 2016 and will feature episodes 11 minutes in length.
