One of the biggest topics of discussion in Apple's ongoing Worldwide Developers Conference is the iOS 10, which is the upcoming latest version of the company's mobile operating system.

Described by Apple as "the biggest iOS release ever," iOS 10 includes a wide variety of new features that will soon be coming to iPhones, iPads and iPods all over the world later this year. Things that users can expect include lock screen enhancements, updates to widgets, a more powerful iMessage app and the ability to delete stock apps, among many other things.

Apple has released the beta version of iOS 10 to developers, along with the latest version of its operating system for Mac computers macOS 10.12 Sierra. The first public beta version of the operating system will be coming out next month, with the public release of iOS 10 expected in the fall.

For Apple fans who are too excited to wait for the official release and even for the public beta, the legitimate way to get the iOS 10 beta for developers into a mobile device is to sign up under Apple's developer program, which comes with an annual fee of $99, or gain access to the account of a developer friend.

For users who do not wish to pay the annual fee and do not have friends with Apple developer accounts, there is another way to download the iOS 10 beta for developers. All that needs to be done is to search online for a link available to the public which contains a developer profile, and then install the profile directly into an iPhone, iPad or iPod. After doing so, the iOS 10 beta for developers can be installed as users would normally do when installing a regular update to the iOS, with future versions of the iOS 10 beta likely also to be received by the user.

However, it should be noted that the practice of installing beta versions intended for developers by the average consumer is a practice that is frowned, as the software is not meant for the public. The method also carries the risk of not being serviced by an Apple Store, and Apple could seal the method from being used in the future. Not to mention, installing software through shady means may backfire and damage the user's device.

Of course, there is also the safe method of signing up for the public beta program of the iOS 10. Users can do so through the dedicated website of Apple, but the operating system update will only become available in July.
