A new report claims that Samsung will begin the mass production of Galaxy Note 7 beginning in July. The company is reportedly expecting strong sales out of the gate and will have 5 million Note 7 devices manufactured through August.

The anticipation for Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Note 7 is high, and the phablet has been making headlines on an almost daily basis leading up to its official launch.

Tech Times has reported on what is believed to be a marketing material leaked online and appeared to confirm that Samsung will skip the "Galaxy Note 6" name. The smartphone will be launched as "Galaxy Note 7" to keep the number sequence of current flagship devices (Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge) the same as to not confuse consumers.

The leaked image also has the message: "Write on the edge of something great," which could back up a report from April that claimed Samsung was testing both a flat display and curved display Galaxy Note, but would only release one. It's safe to assume that the curved-edge display variant made the cut.

A day after Tech Times reported on the leaked marketing material, an image of what is reportedly a press invite for a Samsung Unpacked event scheduled for Aug. 2 hit the web, meaning we're only a couple of weeks away from seeing the Galaxy Note 7 up close and personal.

Now, a new report claims that Samsung will enter mass production for the Galaxy Note 7 beginning in July, with 2.5 million devices produced in July and another 2.5 million units manufactured in August. The source claims Samsung will have 5 million Galaxy Note 7 smartphones ready to ship when the handset goes on sale. It is believed Samsung will begin selling the Galaxy Note 7 almost immediately after it officially announced the device.

Some of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's features are expected to include an advanced iris scanner, 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor and a whopping 6 GB of RAM. The Note 7 will also reportedly pack in a 12-megapixel rear camera with Super OIS (optical image stabilization) Plus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy Note 7 is also expected to feature a similar waterproof and dustproof case, like the ones found on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
