A recent report claimed that Apple had put the dual-lens rear camera that would exclusively be on the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro on pause due to technical issues. Now a new image of what is reportedly an iPhone 7 Plus/Pro with the feature intact has leaked.

Apple just showed off iOS 10 at WWDC 2016 and Tech Times has covered some of the best new features of iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users can look forward to when Apple officially releases the free software update in the fall.

The first devices to ship with iOS 10 out of the box, of course, will be the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus/Pro, which are expected to launch in September and be released shortly after the company's press event.

Unlike previous years with non-S moniker iPhones, the company typically released a newly redesigned iPhone, but the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are both widely expected to retain an almost identical look to that of its predecessor: iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. An image believed to be an iPhone 7 dummy unit showed a very familiar device that has had its antenna bands hidden and a protruding single lens rear camera.

One of the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro's main differentiating feature from the iPhone 7 is a dual-lens rear camera module and Apple's Smart Connector port, which is only available on the company's iPad Pro lineup, leading to speculation that the 5.5-inch smartphone could launch officially as iPhone 7 Pro.

A recent report surfaced claiming Apple would not ship the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro with a dual-lens rear camera due to the feature not being up to snuff and likely headed to next year's flagship iPhones.

If you were looking forward to an iPhone 7 Plus/Pro but was disappointed that the dual-rear camera was said to have been dropped, a new report claims the feature is intact and will make into the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro.

According to the source Showbox App, it has received a new image of what is said to be the final production model for the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro's rear case.

As you can see in the image above, the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro case clearly shows the wider cutout for the dual-lens rear camera, which is expected to be among its main features. The cutout is supposedly covered by some sort of protective film, according to the source.

The dual-lens rear camera has been one of the most talked about features coming to the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro. Do you think we'll see it ship with the feature or a single camera? Let us know in the comments below.
