Last weekend's Wizard World Nashville Comic Con brought out fans of everything from comics to TV to movies. And that fandom was reflected in the costumes attendees wore to the convention.

Nashville's Music City Center was awash with Starfleet members, Starlords, pretty sailor soldiers, Deadpools (lots and lots of Deadpools), Wonder Women, Batmen and Power Rangers.

T-Lounge was there and caught all the action and even several winners of Wizard World Nashville Comic Con's costume contest, including a delightful Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove and a real life Groot.

Some fan favorites included Sailor Moon, Mad Moxsie and Zed from Borderlands, several versions of The Doctor from Doctor Who, and a giant Lego character.

A lot of hard work and effort went into putting these costumes together, and fans paid the cosplayers with respect and a lot of photo requests.

This year's guests included nearly the entire cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, whose appearances coincided with the 27th anniversary of the series. Michael Rooker from The Walking Dead and most recently, Guardians of the Galaxy, was a hit with fans, young and old alike. Green Power Ranger, Jason David Frank pleased kids who grew up with the Power Rangers.

Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs, of Charmed, were also crowd pleasers, along with their co-star Brian Krause. Battlestar Galactica fans crowded a panel room for a Q&A session with Jamie Bamber and Michael Trucco. And, as always, William Shatner, was high on everyone's list.

For comics fans, guests included Eisner Award nominees Ron Garney and Peter Bagge, along with Roland Boschi, Michael Golden and Eisner Award winner Kevin Maguire. Many other artists and creators joined them on the con floor. Fans lined up to pick up art and order commissions from their favorites.

Fans also spent a lot of dollars at many of the vendors available on the Comic Con floor that featured jewelry, t-shirts, plushies, toys, comics, illustrations and photos, autographs, handmade works of art, geeky nail art and more.

But the cosplay was still one of the main attractions, so here are a few of our favorite costumes seen over the weekend.
