The United States Postal Service is getting its geek on just in time for New York Comic-Con.

Starting October 9, 2014 — the same day that NYCC begins — Batfans can get their black-gloved hands on a series of stamps themed around the Dark Knight himself in honor of his 75th anniversary. Each sheet of 20 forever stamps includes four variants depicting Batman's appearance in the Golden, Silver, Bronze and Modern Ages of comics. The artwork on the stamps features work from Bob Kane (Golden Age), Dick Sprang (Silver Age), Neal Adams (Bronze Age) and Jim Lee (Modern Age).

"Batman is the most popular Superhero of all time, and it is an honor to have the U.S. Postal Service feature the Caped Crusader on this new set of stamps in celebration of his 75th anniversary," DC Comics' co-publisher Jim Lee told USA Today. "Batman has inspired and influenced fans around the world for generations and will continue to do so for the next 75 years and beyond."

The Batman stamps will be priced at $.49 each, but since they're "forever stamps," they'll still be good after all future USPS price increases. New York Comic-Con runs from October 9-12, 2014 at the Javits Center in New York City.
