Say what you will about Michael Bay's films, but there's no denying the fact that the man knows how to move product. Not only have the Transformers films filled theaters with eager movie-loving families, but they've also made loads of money all over the world. If the latest entry in the series, Transformers: Age of Extinction, is any indication, that's not about to slow down anytime soon.

While the film wasn't exactly a critical success, the Bay production was the second in the franchise to rake in $100 million during its opening weekend (the other was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen). According to Box Office Mojo, Transformers: Age of Extinction has grossed over $245 million worldwide -- more than enough to warrant a fifth entry (even if Michael Bay decides not to return to the Robots in Disguise).

With the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD releases of Transformers: Age of Extinction hitting store shelves on Sept. 30, the coffers are already likely filling up again and for good reason: Michael Bay knows how to have fun. If Bay cares at all about what the critics say, he certainly doesn't show it. The man makes movies for action fans that love sitting back with a big bowl of popcorn and being transported to an entirely new world for a few hours. The Transformers films are the epitome of that philosophy and, with that in mind, it's pretty clear that they work as intended.

We here at T-Lounge are excited to premiere these exclusive behind-the-scenes images from the making of Transformers: Age of Extinction. In them, you'll get a good sense of Michael Bay's command of the set, the actors involved and even get to see him filming on The Great Wall of China. Fun stuff!
