"Every hour on that planet will be seven years back on Earth."

That's the big thing we learn from the latest in an ongoing barrage of trailers for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, which opens in early November. We also have an answer to why Paramount has suddenly opened the flood gates on new trailers and TV spots. Turns out, they're all trickling out of a new website that's a partnership between the movie and Google.

The website in question, interstellar.withgoogle.com, is a treasure trove of content related to the movie. It's wrapped in a web app that charges you with flying across the galaxy. As you explore, you'll find images and several preview videos, including the final international trailer, a new TV spot and a quick look at how astrophysicist Kip Thorne contributed real science to the film.

(Be warned: if you choose to explore Google's Interstellar site, you'll want to close all of your other windows and programs first. It's a major resource hog.)

The trailer contains the most new footage, including the revelation quoted above and a jaw-dropping scene of what the crew initially believes to be mountains, but which turns out to be something else. Watch it here.

And then there's this TV spot, which zeroes in more on the film's emotional core: the struggle Matthew McConaughey's character, Cooper, faces between getting back home to his family or saving the entire human race. Now that we know the time differential between his voyage and his children aging back on Earth, it raises his stakes to a drastic urgency.

The new website also reveals that select viewers will be able to see Interstellar in IMAX two days early, on November 5, 2014. The complete list of participating theaters is here.
