Although almost everyone is solely playing Pokémon GO on their smartphones now, Fallout Shelter still has its share of players, too.

Now, though, PC gamers can get in on the action (if they haven't already) by downloading the mobile game on to their computers.

Bethesda recently made Fallout Shelter available on PC via the Bethesda Launcher, which players will need before they can access the game.

Here's how to download and play Fallout Shelter on PC:

1. Download the Bethesda Launcher here and run it.

2. Log in with an existing Bethesda.net account or register for a new one.

3. Two programs appear as available in the Launcher: the Fallout 4 Creation Kit and Fallout Shelter. Choose Fallout Shelter.

4. Agree to Bethesda's End User License Agreement.

5. Download and have fun!

Please note that Fallout Shelter requires at least 1.24 GB to install on the PC. Bethesda recommends having 2 GB free, though, along with an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU at 2.83 GHz, at least Windows 7 64-bit and either an Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 1 GHz or a Radeon HD 6970 1 GHz video card.

Fallout Shelter takes the world of Fallout and turns it into a strategy game that involves setting up a vault and taking care of that vault's dwellers. Vault owners can assign jobs to various citizens, encourage them to make babies and do a lot of other weird and wacky things. The goal of the game is to keep everyone alive, which also includes arming citizens so that they can take on the various mutated creatures and raiders that would invade their home vault. Vault dwellers can also have their own pets, including the infamous Dogmeat.

Players also must keep their vault dwellers happy by providing them with food, security and occasional comforts. The game is basically The Sims meets Fallout, but with a lot more features, such as crafting, the ability to send dwellers out into the wasteland to collect supplies and the ability to protect the vault. Players can grow vaults, too, adding rooms and equipment, as well as bring in new vault dwellers. The game's difficulty grows with the vault, so larger vaults require more hands-on work.

The game also has a lot of surprises for players, including legendary characters, such as Old Longfellow. Creatures familiar to Fallout players also turn up, including Deathclaws and Radroaches.

Fallout Shelter is free to play on Windows PCs, iOS and Android.
