PlayStation Store's Summer Sale has begun, heralding up to 60 percent in discounts for titles for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The PlayStation Store Summer Sale will run for four weeks, and will include a wide selection of games across the console family. However, not all games will be available on discount throughout the sale. Some titles will be on sale for a limited time only so PlayStation owners are urged to check out what's available so they don't miss out. Additionally, not all titles will be available for the duration of the sale across all regions.

Toward the end of June, the PlayStation Network also launched a flash sale but to rival the Steam Summer Sale. However, the PSN sale was only for users in North America although it did offer discounts of up to 80 percent. PS4, PS3 and PS Vita titles were also covered during the flash sale, which saw titles like Batman: Arkham Knight for the PS4 retailing for just $11.99 (original price: $29.99) and Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PS3 at $4.99 (original price: $19.99).
