With only a few days to go before Samsung officially takes the wraps off of the Galaxy Note 7, official renders of the smartphone have leaked, along with its dimensions and pricing information.

One of 2016's most highly anticipated smartphone launches will take place on Aug. 2 when Samsung will officially unveil its next-generation Galaxy Note 7 phablet at one of its Unpacked press events. While the company has tried to keep most of its details under wraps, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of design and features.

One of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7's most talked about features is its advanced iris scanner, which will provide enhanced security when unlocking the smartphone, authorizing mobile payments, and opening applications. The feature was recently demonstrated on video and shows how fast it will allow users to unlock their devices by simply staring at the screen.

In late June, we got our first look at what the Galaxy Note 7 would look like, thanks to a third-party case maker. Now, a new report reveals what are reportedly official renders of Samsung's new phablet, its dimensions and weight, and pricing information.

As you can see in the image above, the Galaxy Note 7 will feature a dual edge curved display, like the one found on the Galaxy S7 Edge. The source claims the exact dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 measure 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 168 grams. You'll also notice the Note 7's new S Pen, which is expected to provide enhanced functionality and was redesigned in order to allow the device to be waterproof.

In case you were wondering how much the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will retail for at full price, the source claims the phablet will cost €850 in France, which translates into about $950 for the US. Don't worry about having to fork that whole amount over to carriers, as US carriers will offer monthly payment plans. T-Mobile is also expected to offer the Galaxy Note 7 under its buy-one-get-one-free promotions when it officially goes on sale.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is believed to feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, either run a Samsung Exynos 8893 processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, and pack in 4 GB of RAM. A recent Zuaba listing confirmed it will use the same 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, as the ones found on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The Note 7 is also believed to include 64 GB of internal storage, microSD expansion slot, and 3,600 mAh non-removable battery.

We'll be covering Samsung's Unpacked Galaxy Note 7 event on Aug. 2 and will bring you all the latest news and details. Are you planning to buy a Galaxy Note 7? Please let us and our readers know in the comments below.
