Marvel has released to the public the official image of the Daredevil TV show logo, and it won't come as a surprise to anyone who has been a fan of the comics. The logo is similar to the comic book version, red, clean, and bland. No big changes, just the way things are meant to be, and we are completely OK with that.

The revelation of the logo should be seen as awesome news, because it means that Marvel might be planning to show the public the first footage of the show at the New York Comic Con on Oct. 11, 2014.

Fans have been waiting for a long time to catch a glimpse of what Marvel has been working on all these months. Several shots have been leaked from the set, but nothing of any substance. We're sure big things are happening, but the folks who go around and take images of all the happenings on a movie or TV show set are too busy these days stalking out Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Star Wars: Episode VII.

For those who have been under a massive rock for decades, Daredevil is one of the most known and loved comics, and the hero here is actually a blind man. We won't spoil how he ended up blind and fighting crime, but what we can say is this, he's good at it, and he's a man without fear. Furthermore, he's also a lawyer who doesn't get enough credit.

Daredevil is the potential next big thing for Marvel, and the studio is working hard to make sure it pleases the fan base. We understand the Netflix exclusive series will follow in the footsteps set by Frank Miller, the man behind the Dark Knight Returns comic book series.

It's been a long time since we've seen Marvel adopt a dark tone, and it appears things could all change with Daredevil. By taking a page out of Frank Miller's mind, it is clear that things are going to be gritty and dark here, and we are all up for it.

Let's just say that it has been a long time coming. Marvel is going dark, and we're right behind the studio following like headless chickens.
