Like Pikachu before it, adorable pocket monster Eevee from Nintendo's Pokémon franchise will soon be available in plush form from Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Eevee will arrive at the retailer on Sept. 1 in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. A standard Eevee will sell for $28, though Build-A-Bear will also be selling an online-exclusive version of the plush that comes with a sleeping outfit, cape and sound chip for $62. If the thought of having an Eevee without a cute Pokeball-patterned sleeping suit is too much, you can buy the outfit for $12.50 separately, though the cape and sound chip remain exclusive to the online-only version of the plush.

As if you needed another reason to buy an adorable Eevee, all in-store or online purchases of the Eevee plush come with an exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game card.

The Eevee plush couldn't come at a better moment, as Pokémon fever is at an all-time high. The popularity of Pokémon GO, combined with the upcoming release of Pokémon Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS, have created a perfect storm of attention for Nintendo's popular game franchise. There's also the fact that Eevee is one of the most important creatures for players to catch in Pokémon GO, as they aren't all that rare, can be caught in large numbers and can eventually evolve into powerful new forms like Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon. Acquiring stronger Pokémon like the ones mentioned are essential if a player wants to do gym battles, and Eevee, despite appearances, is quite a formidable opponent in its evolved forms. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Build-A-Bear will be making plush versions of Eevee's evolutions — at least not yet.

Yes, Pokémon is still going strong all these years later, and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. Pokémon Sun and Moon arrive in stores on Nov. 18, complete with a brand new region for players to explore and new Pokémon to capture. A recent update to Pokémon GO added an appraisal system to the game, allowing its various gym leaders to provide more information about any given Pokémon captured by a player. You can read more about that here.
