There are plenty of YouTube stars that don't mind showing off their faces for the fame. However, pranksters are getting into the Halloween spirit by featuring costumed characters in videos that have gone viral.

Many people may recognize Yousef Saleh Erakat from his "Yoga Pants Prank" that went viral. With over four million subscribers for his channel FouseyTUBE, the prank received over 24 million views. FouseyTube strikes again -- just in time for costume season -- with his "Mortal Kombat Elevator Prank."

Erakat dressed as a Mortal Kombat character. The Masked Erakat pretends he is about to fight as unsuspected people step into the elevator as the theme music plays. Check out the people's hilarious reactions in the full prank below.

Much like the creepy killer clown in the new season of American Horror Story, pranksters from DM Pranks Productions have posted several viral videos on their YouTube channel featuring some seriously scary clowns. Featured on this season of MTV's Ridiculousness, host Rob Dyrdek showed Kendall and Kylie Jenner and the world DM Pranks' "Killer Clown Scare Prank." Filmed in a parking lot, a scary "killer" clown attacks and chases people walking by who nervously react to the fake blood splatter. Check out the full viral prank, which received over 28 million views below.

New clown on the block, Prank Kings have taken on the "killer clown" theme in their videos, their first upload receiving over 500,000 views in just a few weeks. Their new horror satire video, "Killer Clown vs. Birthday Clown Elevator Prank," features a hilariously happy clown who is in for one hell of a surprise. Watch the video below.

Not all costumed YouTube pranksters are two-legged, though. The eight-legged "Mutant Giant Spider Dog" by YouTube channel SA Wardega features some spooky Halloween sounds and the reactions of people who came in contact with the creepy crawler. The dog dressed in the spider costume spooked strangers and received almost 100 million views. Check out the eight-legged freak prank below.
