Justin Timberlake has released the trailer for his new Netflix concert film, set to premiere next month. The concert special titled: Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids, hits Netflix on Oct. 12, and the trailer features the singer dancing, hanging out backstage with band members, and singing his hit song "Mirrors."

Produced by Live Nation, the concert premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival and was soon acquired by Netflix.

Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids is directed by Jonathan Demme, who won an Academy Award for Best Director for his work on Silence Of The Lambs. He also produced documentary music films for the legendary Neil Young, as well as music videos by artists such as Suburban Lawns, New Order, KRS-One's H.E.A.L. project and Bruce Springsteen.

The concert special focuses on Timberlake's final concert on his 20/20 Experience tour, which takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tour saw Timberlake play 134 dates over a period of two years.

Timberlake of course began as one of the five members of the legendary boy band NSYNC. After the group's members went their separate ways, he has enjoyed great success in his solo career. Some of his biggest hit singles have included his debut release "Like I Love You," "Cry Me A River" (purportedly aimed at Timberlake's ex Britney Spears), "My Love," "SexyBack," "Suit And Tie," and the aforementioned "Mirrors."

His most recent release, "Can't Stop The Feeling," topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this summer and was the biggest selling single of the season.

While Timberlake's tour ended before the latest single was released, he performs all of his other solo hits in the film, which chronicles the tour launched in support of his two 2013 albums: The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2.

The tour received mostly excellent reviews from critics, including Emily Zemler of The Hollywood Reporter, who stated:

"Justin Timberlake knows he looks good. Onstage, the pop star and actor moves with the sort of confidence that comes only from this knowledge, where it manifests not as ego but as absolute self-assurance. ... There's nothing better than watching a performer who is genuinely having fun — and that's perhaps why Timberlake is so striking."

You'll be able to watch Timberlake sing all of his solo hits and show off his dance moves on Oct. 12, when Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids premieres on Netflix, but for now, check out the trailer for the film below.
