James Corden has done it again. After successfully setting YouTube on fire with the viral "Carpool Karaoke" musical segments from his popular late night talk show, The Late Late Show With James Corden, the host has fired up his singing chops again to perform as the sixth member of legendary boy band Backstreet Boys in a new viral video.

Corden has become known for the regular "Carpool Karaoke" sessions featured on his show, with A-list pop stars such as Adele, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears among the past participants in his rolling sing along session. The segment is so popular that it has actually eclipsed the success of his CBS late night chatfest, registering a total of well over 1 billion views on YouTube. Interest in the segment is so great that Corden and his production team were able to sell an upcoming separate weekly version of the show to Apple Music, to be led by a still yet to be announced alternative host.

Corden's musical antics haven't been limited only to the "Carpool Karaoke" segments, and this week he enlisted the most successful boy band of all time, the Backstreet Boys, to perform alongside him not in a car, but on stage in a choreographed routine reminiscent of the groups famous dance stylings. Corden fits right in as the group's sixth member, jumping and spinning with all five original members of the pop quintet — A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell, as he and the gang perform one of the group's most popular early hits "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)"

"We are bringing back boy bands. I'm talking proper boy bands. Five guys together — I'm talking about the cute one, the funny one, the nice one, the other one and the maverick who refused to play by the rules. All living together in some weird mansion in Orlando," joked Corden prior to announcing the group and joining them on stage.

The Backstreet Boys have sold 130 million records worldwide and hold the title of the best-selling boy band in history (although some consider The Beatles, who have sold considerably more records, the very first boy band). The group has experienced a boost in interest lately as part of a larger 90's pop culture revival, and just announced an upcoming Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, where their contemporaries Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez hold their residencies, with the first performance of "Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life" scheduled for March 1, 2017. Meanwhile, you can check out the full performance of Corden with The Backstreet Boys in the clip below.
