The internet has already seen the new BlackBerry DTEK60 due to the recent image leak of the device, so it shouldn't look new at all for most.

However, those who are keenly attuned to news about the third Android-powered smartphone from BlackBerry can rave once again, since more in-depth details have emerged.

GSM Arena has spotted the full specifications for BlackBerry's latest flagship device today, and now that it's out in the wild, it shouldn't take a while before the company officially releases it.

BlackBerry accidentally published an official list of specifications for the DTEK60 on its site, which lists the device as "coming soon." The page was pulled momentarily but it's now back up again in full display.

According to the official specs list, the DTEK60 has a 5.5-inch QHD display at 534 ppi. It's powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It will sport a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera that can record 4K video, an 8-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor. Looking at the specs proves that most of the rumors surrounding the device were true.

The DTEK60 is powered by Android, as previously mentioned, and comes with BlackBerry's custom Android UI which features customizable gesture controls and the BlackBerry Intelligent Touch keyboard, among others. It also comes with BlackBerry's proprietary convenience key, a physical key on the device which allows for programmable shortcuts.

Inside the DTEK60 is a 3,000 mAh battery, which is non-removable. The device also has a USB Type-C port with USB On-the-Go support. In terms of connectivity, the DTEK60 packs LTE Advanced that can go up to speeds of 300 Mbps, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC.

Like the DTEK50, its predecessor, the DTEK60 eschews the physical QWERTY keyboard that the company was once famously known for. But that's not any of BlackBerry's business since it withdrew any involvement with manufacturing, focusing more on improving its software.

The DTEK60 was previously spotted in a filing on both the Federal Communications Commission and Wi-Fi Alliance sites, passing FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Now that the phone has gone through standard FCC protocol and has been certified, most people are simply waiting for BlackBerry to break its silence and officially give word about its latest flagship phone. And it definitely did, only accidentally. But BlackBerry surely isn't the first company to be the subject of leaks ahead of an official reveal or launch date.

Meanwhile, the DTEK60 is available now for preorder on NCIX, an online electronics retailer in Richmond, Canada. The device costs 699 CAD, or about $533, and is set to launch on Oct. 11.
