The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is just a few short weeks away now. We've already seen several teasers and trailers for the film, but Lionsgate is still holding on to plenty of footage.

A new preview has just been unlocked by fans (via a Doritos marketing campaign), and while it contains glimpses of images we've already seen, there is one key moment that's brand new. Fans of Suzanne Collins' books know that early on in Mockingjay, Peeta is interviewed by Caesar Flickerman at the Capitol, where he's being held captive. But instead of a tortured, damaged visage, Peeta appears perfectly fine.

It's what he says that's the real shock, though: he asks the rebels to lay down their arms and stop fighting the Capitol. Why would Peeta ever say such a thing? What's really going on here? The answer is too juicy to spoil.

Whatever his reasons, Peeta's actions deeply anger Gale, who sees Peeta's words as treason. He tells Katniss that he'd "rather die" than say the words Peeta just said — and on a national broadcast to all of Panem, no less.

Watch now.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be in theaters November 21, 2014.
