The stakes have been gradually escalating in Dragon Ball Super. In recent episodes the show has revealed the true identity behind Goku Black, and now a fusion between Goku Black and Zamasu has led to a new, god-like form of the villain that seems invincible.

Of course, Goku and his allies always come up with some way to defeat the franchise's ever more powerful villains, but it's going to take even more power than usual to defeat Zamasu in his new form. This new Zamasu with Super Saiyan hair is immortal and immensely powerful. In the latest episode of the show, Zamasu mops the floor with Goku, Vegeta and Trunks, with no hope in sight. What are Goku and Vegeta to do against this new, all-powerful foe?

Spoilers for Dragon Ball Super below!

If the preview for episode 66 is any indication, Potara Fusion, that's what. Episode 65 did little to hint towards Goku and Vegeta fusing together to create their powerful Vegito (Vegeto?) form, but the episode 66 preview that played immediately following episode 65 clearly shows Vegito battling it out with Zamasu.

That's big news for fans. Vegito hasn't been seen since Dragon Ball Z's Buu story arc, in which Goku and Vegeta fuse together in order to defeat one of Majin Buu's many forms. Now it looks like the two rivals will be combining their strength once again, only this time fans can expect Vegito to be far more powerful than before. After all, Goku and Vegeta have both obtained the strength of Super Saiyan Blue, which means this new form of Vegeto should be immensly more powerful than the last time the technique was used.

But will it be enough to secure victory? Zamasu is immortal, and when combined with the power of Goku Black, is essentially Goku's equal. How does one defeat somebody who is invincible? That's the question Goku and Vegeta will have to find an answer to in the coming episodes as they even the playing field a bit with their combined strength.

It's a little strange that the episode preview decided to spoil what would have otherwise been a huge surprise moment, but it seems fans don't mind too much. They are mostly just excited to see Vegito to return and watch the sparks fly. Fans will have to tune in to the episode to see what comes next, and thankfully watching Dragon Ball Super has never been easier. Fans can stream the show on Crunchyroll, while Crunchyroll Premium subscribers are able to view the latest episodes shortly after they air in Japan. An English dubbed version of the show is also officially in the works from Funimation.
