If you've been hankering for a new top-end Android-powered smartphone, then you will be pleased to learn that U.S. carrier Verizon wireless is kicking off some fantastic bargains for the new Google Pixel XL and Pixel smartphones.

As part of its Black Friday 2016 celebrations, Verizon will be dropping the price of both the Google Pixel and its bigger sibling the Pixel Xl to just $240. It is also offering discount on the Google Home speaker and has several more exciting offers up for grabs.

How To Get The Smartphone For $240?

One needs to purchase the 32 GB variant of the Pixel XL or Pixel on a 24-month plan at $10 per month, which works out to $240. Normally, the 32 GB variants of the Pixel retails for $649 and the 32 GB Pixel Xl for $799.99. However, this offer is valid only for Friday Nov. 24, which is Black Friday.

"If you're also looking to upgrade your phone, starting Thursday, get a new Pixel, Phone by Google for as little as $10 a month* through Black Friday," says Verizon.

Those eyeing for the 128 GB variant of either handset need to shell out $15 per month for 24 months or $360. These deals will also be available online.

If Pixel Is Not Your Thing?

If you don't want a Pixel or Pixel XL, you can also avail a $200 discount on any top-end Android handset which retails for $400 or above. This offer is valid when one switch to the carrier or adds a new line to an existing account.

Existing customers of Verizon who wish to upgrade can save $100 on any Android handset that retails for $400 or more. This offer kicks off on Nov. 24 and ends on Nov. 27.

Amazon also has some deals for unlocked Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

Google Home Is Discounted Too!

That's correct! Verizon has also discounted the Google Home speakers and has shaved off $30, which means that the voice-activated device can be yours for just $100.

"From November 23 through November 28 as part of Verizon's Black Friday weekend promotions, you can purchase Google Home for $99.99," said the company.

Verizon also has its BOGO 50 offer ongoing, whereby consumers can snag the second smartphone for a 50 percent discount. This offer, however, expires on Nov. 23 midnight. It is valid for a slew of smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, LG V20, Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z Force Droid and Moto Z Droid.
