Popular keyboard app SwiftKey has made all of its themes available for free on Android and iOS.

To spread some holiday cheer, more than 100 themes that are normally paid are now available as a free download on the two most popular mobile operating systems.

"With the holiday season upon us, we wanted to spread a little SwiftKey cheer of our own," says SwiftKey. "[Y]ou'll find over 100 themes to customize your SwiftKey Keyboard's color and design — as well as brand new 'Vivid' themes which are, of course, also free."

Free SwiftKey Themes On Android

Android users can now access a slew of free themes by clicking on the hamburger menu on the left side of the prediction bar to access the SwiftKey Hub. Next up, select the Themes panel and head over to the SwiftKey Store to get all themes for free.

Free SwiftKey Themes On iOS

To access the free themes on SwiftKey for iOS, open the container app on the home screen and tap on the red Design icon located on the upper right side. The new Vivid theme pack is available for free on iOS as well.

SwiftKey Keyboard

For those unfamiliar with SwiftKey, it's a neat third-party keyboard app that offers a number of cool features to improve the texting experience. SwiftKey has intuitive predictions, it learns from your vocabulary, keeps track of your tone and expressions and can help save time when typing by anticipating what you might want to say next. The keyboard app also offers SwiftKey Stats so that users can learn more about their typing habits.

Microsoft acquired SwiftKey back in February this year, sparking concerns that it might change the way the keyboard works on Android and iOS, but that's not the case. The company promised that it will keep working on the mobile apps and add new features and it has so far kept its word.

SwiftKey is available as a free download, albeit some more premium features such as special themes or other perks required purchases. With themes now free for all, the SwiftKey keyboard allows for more customizations which will likely boost its appeal.

The third-party keyboard is compatible with Android smartphones and tablets, as well as Apple's iPhones and iPads. If you haven't tried the app just yet, you can get it for free from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
