The recently released stable version of the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is fixing some Google Pixel and Pixel XL owners' LTE Band 4 connectivity problems.

This comes hot on the heels of when some users in North and South America reported that their Phones by Google had an issue with making a stable connection via the frequency last month.

The Sweetest Android Is The Fix

Those who have updated their Pixels to Android 7.1.1 are now saying that their phones can now use LTE Band 4 without a hitch on the Google Product forums.

It should be pointed out that the update may take a while before it arrives to every Pixel out there, and that means some users will have to manage without an LTE Band 4 connection a little longer.

However, if waiting is simply out of the question, Google already released the OTA files and factory images for the Pixel, which also support Nexus devices, for those who are wondering.

Just to be clear on that, users can flash these files and install the update manually to jump on the Nougat bandwagon.
