Apple is widely expected to celebrate the iPhone's 10th anniversary with an iPhone 8 this fall. A new concept video imagines what the smartphone might look like, including a rear camera housed in the iconic Apple logo that has graced every model since 2007.

Apple Redefines The Smartphone

It's hard to believe that we're coming up on the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. While there were many smartphones before it, Apple somehow managed to rewrite the script by producing a device that wasn't riddled with clunky buttons, a small screen, unintuitive software and physical QWERTY keyboards. Instead, Apple designed the iPhone to run intuitive desktop-class software and a minimalist, premium design that put all of the focus on whatever was on the display.

The original iPhone design quickly became the defacto look of what a smartphone should look like and QWERTY-equipped handsets like BlackBerry and Palm's Treo, which were the leaders before Apple got into the game, became relics. Trying to figure out what Apple has in store for its next generation iPhone and what it will look like has garnered major attention over the years and concept images and videos of the unannounced smartphone sometimes provide a peek into Apple's future.

iPhone 10th Anniversary iPhone 8 Expected In The Fall

A new concept video of the 10th anniversary iPhone, the iPhone 8 has been posted online and it uses some of the design elements reported to be part of the upcoming smartphone. As you can see in the video below, the iPhone 8 is rocking a dual curved-edge display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and upcoming Galaxy S8.

The iPhone 8 concept appears to be a Jet Black color option and although most reports claim there will not be a physical Home button on the device, the handset in the video looks to be using the same Force Touch button Apple is currently using in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple Camera?

A look at the rear of the iPhone 8 imagines Apple housing the smartphone's rear camera into the iconic Apple logo that has been in the same spot since 2007's original device. The handset looks thinner than the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and the curved-edge display appears to seamlessly melt into the glossy glass case Apple is rumored to be using as part of its new design.

Check out the video below and let us and our readers know what you think of the design of this iPhone 8 concept.
