The successor of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) - dubbed the Galaxy J7 92017) has been spotted on GFXBench, which offers a peek into the impending handset.

This is not the first time, the smartphone has leaked online. The latest leak of the Galaxy J7 (2017) offer more insight into the handset.

The listing on the benchmarking database reveals that Samsung Galaxy (J7 2017) carries the model number SM-J727A.

Rumored Specs And Features

According to GFXBench, the Galaxy J7 (2017) may be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz. The handset will reportedly house ARM Mali-T830 GPU.

The smartphone is hinted to have 16 GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM. The listing shows that the device will come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and could sport a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

In terms of camera capability, the listing shows that the smartphone will have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Both the primary and secondary cameras are said to support 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording. The primary camera will support face detection, autofocus and flash.

Evan Blass, a well-known leakster, has mentioned that the Galaxy J7 (2017) may be picked up by AT&T, Verizon and US Cellular in the U.S. He also shared at the time that the global release of the handset would be taking place soon.

Older rumors suggest that the battery capacity of the Galaxy J7 (2017) may be 10 percent less compared to the 2016 model. The smartphone will allegedly house a 3000 mAh battery.

Even though the latest GFXBench listing points to a 5.5-inch 720p display for the smartphone, previous rumors have hinted at a 1080p display. Older leaks also hint at the device deploying a 5MP selfie camera, as well as a 13MP primary snapper.
