Lady Gaga's Super Bowl Halftime performance is just around the corner, and speculation is that she'll be bringing up some surprise guest performers to help her out. Now, observers are wondering if Beyoncé will be joining Gaga on the stage at Super Bowl 51 after Gaga posted a bee emoji on Instagram.

Lady Gaga's Big Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance

While football fans duke it out over who will emerge victorious at Sunday's Super Bowl game in Houston — the Atlanta Falcons or New England Patriots — music fans are engaged in a different kind of frenzied debate. What will Lady Gaga's Halftime Show performance be like, and who, if anyone, will show up to join her in what is expected to be an exciting high-energy mini concert.

Lady Gaga has already let the cat out of the bag regarding the scope of the music that she will be performing, indicating that the set list will encompass music from her entire career, and not just her most recently released album Joanne.

During her short but illustrious run as an A-list pop star, Gaga released music with several of the industry's biggest superstars. In addition to a genre-hopping stint with jazz and American standards legend Tony Bennett, Gaga also dueted with modern R&B legend R. Kelly on "Do What U Want," one of the highlights from her Artpop album era.

Beyoncé To Join Lady Gaga In Super Bowl Halftime Show?

The biggest pop star that Lady Gaga has sung with thus far, however, is arguably her "Telephone" partner Beyoncé. Beyoncé, of course, offered up a slamming Super Bowl halftime show in 2013, and showed up again last year to join Coldplay. That, of course, has led to speculation that the diva will make another halftime appearance with Gaga, perhaps to reunite on their famous dance pop hit.

Gaga added fuel to the fire when she added a bee emoji to the caption of a recent Instagram post picturing the "Bad Romance" singer in Houston. When asked about the meaning of the post, Gaga remained coy, telling questioning reporters not to read into it while neither confirming nor denying a Beyoncé appearance.

"I was actually with Beyoncé the last halftime show she did and she always is very inspiring and gives great advice. She is a very focused and genuine performer," Gaga simply stated. "I have sent her flowers since I've heard of her amazing news on the way so I'm excited about her new child."

Gaga was equally noncommittal when asked about the chances of the 90-year-old Bennett joining in on the show, but also hinted at a possible role for the singing legend. We'll find out soon enough what Lady Gaga has in store for her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance when it commences on Feb. 5.
