Khloe Kardashian's amazing body transformation, which she dubs "revenge body," has been the talk of the town since 2016. Her well-documented fitness journey has paved the way to the launch of a book and her own TV show on E!

In her many interviews, the 32-year-old member of the popular Kardashian family spilled the beans on the different diet and workout techniques she personally found effective in shedding stubborn weight and achieving a beautifully toned physique.

While there's wisdom to most of the weight loss tips Khloe shares, there are also controversial ones, which many experts strongly dispute.

Swap Sinful Cravings For Healthier Alternatives

Diet is a significant part of Khloe's weight loss plan. Knowing that she has to clean up her act and get rid of her guilty pleasures, she said she had to substitute her favorite foods for greener and healthier options.

Some of her deliciously healthy food swaps include replacing white pasta with vegetable noodles made from zucchini or squash, sodium-packed potato chips with baked kale chips, cream cheese with protein-rich hummus, and fructose-heavy ice cream with frozen bananas covered in dark chocolate.

The Magic Of Mindful Eating

"I was a mindless eater. I ate for comfort. I also ate out of boredom and habit. I ate when I was unhappy (which I'm sure many of you can relate to). I even ate chips because I love the crunchy sound they make," the author of the book "Strong Looks Better Naked" revealed. According to Marie-Pierre St-Onge, Ph.D., an associate professor of nutritional medicine at Columbia University, emotions are powerful triggers of unhealthy eating episodes that cause people to binge-eat high-calorie foods with no nutritional value. To avoid going into carb-loading mode during emotional times, St-Onge recommended making it a habit to eat mindfully, meaning: carefully planning what to eat and when to eat meals and snacks.

Mix Up Your Workout

Variety is the key to keeping people inspired and motivated to workout regularly. Khloe admitted that she didn't like doing the same exercise all the time, adding that she shakes things up by doing either Soul Cycle, hot yoga, circuit training, and obstacle-type activities. Doing different types of workouts also lowers your risk of developing injury and hitting a plateau with fitness progress.

The Military Diet

Rumor has it that the reality star has also tried the Military Diet, which basically entails consuming only 1,000 calories per day, instead of the recommended 2,500 calories for men and 2,000 calories for women. Interestingly, a typical meal plan for the Military Diet, which claims a 10-pound weight loss in three days, involves a slice of toast, a cup of coffee, and a grapefruit for breakfast, and ounces of meat, green beans, fruits, and a cup of vanilla ice cream for dinner.

Is it safe and healthy? Director of Nutrition at Pritikin Longevity Center, Kimberly Gomer, believes otherwise. Gomer says that the diet's promise of fantastic "fat-burning" food combinations is too good to be true and not based on science. She also pointed out that small amounts of high-fat food, for example, a scoop of ice cream late at night, would leave people feeling hungry, instead of satiated.

The Dairy Debate: Should You Really Rid Your Diet Of Dairy Products

Khloe has also been very vocal about eliminating dairy from her diet.

"In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind," she says in the December issue of NewBeauty Magazine.

On the contrary, nutrition experts advise against taking the same dairy-free route.

"Dairy is a nutrient powerhouse full of protein, healthy fat, calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and B6 and B12 vitamins," Danielle Starin, R.D., director of nutrition at Nutritionix nutrition database, explained.

Taking dairy out of the picture also means saying goodbye to the benefits of bone-essential mineral calcium and gut-friendly probiotics.
