Music is helping connect Tinder users who are searching for love based on their shared love of artists, songs and genres.

According to new data, those who have connected Spotify to their profile have received an average of 84 percent more matches.

Tinder and Spotify joined forces back in September to release "Anthems," the feature that allows users to sync their music streaming service account to the dating app to display their favorite songs on their profiles.

Anthems allows users to swipe left or right for others based on the types of music they are into.

The new data reveals that more and more singles are swiping right based on using music to help find potential matches. And it's artists like The Weeknd and Drake who are getting the most love.

Tinder reports that The Weeknd and Draft Punk collaboration "Starboy" is the top anthem among males on the platform, followed by Drake's "Fake Love," and The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey's "Closer."

While these are the same songs females love, they are ranked differently in the female anthem's top 5. Women are most into "Closer" at the moment, but Drake's "Same Love" also came in at number 2.

Next on the list is Ed Sheehan's "Shape of You," followed by The Weeknd's "Starboy."

However, the overall top male artists loved by Tinder users is Migos, whereas the top female artist is Alessia Cara.

Users also show group love to bands like Twenty One Pilots, Maroon 5, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Out of today's top hits, Mijos ft. Lil Uzi Vert's "Bad and Boujee" is the most popular on profiles, followed by "Fake Love" by Drake, "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran, "Bounce Back" by Big Sean, and "Starboy" by The Weeknd.

Those who enjoy throwbacks are most into Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," followed by Smash Mouth's "All Star" (yeah, really). Also on the #tbt list is The Beatles' "Here Comes The Sun," David Bowie's "Heroes" and The Killers' "Mr. Brightside."

The data also reveals that in the battle of couples, users favor Beyonce (55 percent) over Jay Z (45 percent), and Garth Brooks (77 percent) over Trisha Yearwood (23 percent).

Britney Spears (73 percent) is loved more than Christina Aguilera (27 percent), Backstreet Boys (75 percent) wins the battle of the boy bands vs. NSYNC (25 percent).

Tinder's Spotify Anthem feature appears to be a hit among users. The number of users who have Spotify integrated increased 160 percent rom Oct. 20, 2016 to Jan., 20, 2017.
