You might think that Steven Quale's 2014 weather-disaster film Into the Storm is just a remake of Jan de Bont's 1996 tornado film Twister for the digital age. On the surface, you might be a little bit right, but Into the Storm is really its own beast. It brings the storm-chasing, weather-disaster film into the new generation by using the found footage technique to tell its story.

While the performances from Richard Armitage and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) are good, what you're really going to see Into the Storm for are the amazing visual effects (and they are downright stunning) and a little bit of disaster porn. Let's just admit it: You want to see stuff get blown around by a massive tornado. Well, Into the Storm will definitely give you what you want in that respect, and it deserves another look on home video.

T-Lounge is excited to premiere this exclusive bonus clip from the Into the Storm Blu-ray (in stores November 18). The clip features director Steven Quale discussing what went into making the film's amazing storm-chasing vehicles. We also get to hear from real storm chaser Reed Timmer about how they adapted their latest vehicle, the Dominator 3, to the screen to form the Titus (the in-movie storm-chasing vehicle). It's an amazing look at how some of these real storm-chasing machines are made to be tough-as-nails. At one point, Timmer even says their Dominator 3 is like "a cross between the Batmobile and a tank."

Into the Storm arrives on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD on November 18.
