Android smartphone manufacturers are currently testing Android 5.0 Lollipop with their current devices and Samsung has seen its share of leaks. The company's Galaxy Note 3 phablet was spotted running Samsung's Lollipop interpretation.

The buzz in the Android smartphone world is currently in overdrive with the release of Google's latest and greatest version of its mobile OS, Android 5.0 Lollipop. The update brings tons of new features and a unified look in the form of Material Design to smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and even automobiles.

Android 5.0 Lollipop not only brings a slick new UI with it, Google has also put major focus on extending battery life with a new battery saver feature that will extend the charge of your Lollipop-equipped smartphone and tablet by up to 90 minutes. It has also made taking the guesswork out of how long it's going to take for your device to recharge. When plugging in a smartphone or tablet, the lockscreen will display an estimate of the time left to fully charge.

Currently the only smartphone officially running Android 5.0 Lollipop is Google's latest flagship Nexus 6 phablet. We just reported that HTC has confirmed that it plans on releasing Android 5.0 Lollipop for the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 Google Play Edition smartphones on Nov. 21. We now know that Samsung is also planning an Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 3 and it's very similar to the leaked video showing the Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0 Lollipop on video.

A new report from SamMobile and accompanying video show the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running an internal build of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The video shows a tour of the new OS and how Samsung has customized with its TouchWiz UI. There are new animations and eye candy, like a new system-wide font, new icon colors in the Settings app, and much more . Samsung has added a Quick Settings feature, making it easier to access commonly used settings. The Galaxy Note 3 also gains the Galaxy Note 4's much-improved Multi Window feature, which allows users to run two apps at once, like composing email and browsing the web with the added convenience of being able to resize each window to your preference.
