If there was one thing Roseanne Barr learned on Thanksgiving Day, it is not to make a Bill Cosby joke on Twitter.

The 62-year-old entertainment icon ruffled a few feathers on Nov. 27 when she posted a photo of her swollen and bloody face, with a caption that attempts to make a crack at Cosby.

"Got in a tussle w/ Bill Cosby," she says. "U should see that mfer."

For a little while, Barr must have thought she was being funny, but realized some people might not like her latest jab at the 77-year-old actor and producer and decided to take down her cringe-worthy tweet. She later reposted the same photo with a different caption explaining she just got a chemical peel.

Barr's bad joke, not her first, comes right after Cosby's lawyer denied the multiple allegations of sexual allegations, some dating as far back as decades ago, thrown against the Kids Say the Darndest Things host.

"The new never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40 or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity," Marty Singer, Cosby's lawyer stated.

"These brand new claims about alleged decades-old events are becoming increasingly ridiculous, and it is completely illogical that so many people would have said nothing, done nothing and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years," he adds.

Barr, who is never one to employ tact when making her public statements, is not afraid to voice her beliefs about what she thinks of the rape allegations.

"I don't wanna get sued or have him (Cosby) send anyone to beat me up, but I think it's obvious: 13 to 1," she says.

Still, the Oscar-winning actress admits Cosby had always acted good-natured toward her and even lent her advice when she was struggling with her own sitcom Roseanne.

"Years ago, he called me up when I was having trouble on my show," she says. "Sometimes he advised me well, and other times I didn't agree with him. But he did reach out to me at the time, and I thought that was cool."

Notwithstanding the controversy surrounding him, Bill Cosby recently appeared in front of a full house at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Wearing a gray t-shirt with the words "Hello friend," sweatpants and flip-flops, he was said to have brought the house down with his jokes on race, religion and his childhood in Philadelphia. A source for E! Online says he only stumbled once, when he attempted to make a joke about sex.
