If you had to choose a property for the WWE to crossover with, what would it be? G.I. Joe? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? How about the Flintstones.

Yes, those Flintstones, the classic Hanna Barbera cartoon about living in the stone age and driving dinosaurs to work. The Flintstones is still around, and it will be colliding with the WWE early next year in the new animated film The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown.

If you are wondering why the Flintstones; well, why not? The WWE already made an appearance in a Scooby-Doo special earlier this year, where Fred, Velma and the gang solve a mystery at Wrestlemania. Below is the poster, courtesy of IGN.

This upcoming film imagines a version of the WWE set in Bedrock, and will include prehistoric versions of many WWE superstars, like John Cena-Stone, CM Punk-Rock, the Boulder Twins and Daniel Bry-Rock. Yes, in case you haven't noticed, every name is a rock pun. Except the Undertaker. He's still just the Undertaker, apparently. It looks like Fred will be working as a fight organizer, while Barney gets the unenviable task of battling it out in the ring with the animated version of CM Punk (who is the best in the prehistoric world!). Watch the trailer in all its glory below.

The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown will be available digitally, on DVD and on Blu-Ray March 17, 2015.
