Black Friday 2017 is about a month away, but a leaked advertisement for Kohl's already showed what customers can expect from the retailer chain.
The advertisement, which spans 64 pages in total includes offers for video game consoles, smart speakers, drones, appliances, and practically all other kinds of electronic devices.
Kohl's Black Friday: PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Headlining Kohl's Black Friday 2017 offerings are the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One S, both of which can be bought for less than $150.
The 1 TB PlayStation 4 will be offered with a discount of $100 to take its price down to $199.99, and will also come with $60 worth of Kohl's Cash. This effectively brings the price of the Sony console down to $139.99.
The 500 GB Xbox One S, meanwhile, will be sold at a $90 discount for a price tag of $189.99, plus $45 worth of Kohl's Cash. This means that the actual price of the Microsoft console will be $144.99.
The included Kohl's Cash are coupons that can be used to purchase other items in Kohl's between Nov. 26 and Dec. 6.
In the Black Friday 2016 console wars, an Adobe report revealed that the Xbox One performed better than the PlayStation 4 during the annual shopping holiday. It appears that Kohl's will play its part in re-igniting the console wars for this year's Black Friday, though the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will have a new challenger with the Nintendo Switch.
Other Kohl's Black Friday 2017 Deals
Kohl's Black Friday 2017 promotion is of course not limited to two video game consoles.
The leaked advertisement, copies of which have been taken down online, also offers the $999.99 55-inch Samsung 4K Ultra HD Smart TV for only $499.99 with $150 of Kohl's Cash, the $329 Apple Watch Series 3 with $90 of Kohl's Cash, the $249.99 Nest Learning Thermostat for only $199.99 with $60 in Kohl's Cash, the $129.99 Google Home for only $79.99 and $15 in Kohl's Cash, the $49.99 Amazon Echo Dot for only $29.99, and many more.
It should be noted, however, that many of the deals that Kohl's will offer on Black Friday 2017 are "doorbusters." This means that customers will need to actually go to the physical stores of Kohl's, wait in long lines, and hope that stocks of the item that they want to purchase are still available by the time that it's their turn to make a purchase.
That's the case for most of the best Black Friday deals though, and offers such as a sub-$150 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One may just make the struggle all worth it.
