Nintendo has revealed its best-selling Switch games alongside its most recent earnings report, and to no one's surprise, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is at the top.

The company also updated the figures of the top 10 games of the 3DS, but as anyone can imagine, the list didn't exactly change all that much.

Nintendo Switch's Top 5 Games

As mentioned earlier, Breath of the Wild is the best-selling Switch game among the pack, clocking in at 4.70 million copies across the globe. Following it with just a small margin is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, scoring 4.42 million copies.

Meanwhile, Splatoon 2 is sitting on the third spot at 3.61 million, with 1-2-Switch at 1.37 million and ARMS at 1.35 million behind.

The total sales of each of them include both physical, digital, and bundled copies.

Back in March, Breath of the Wild rolled out at the same time as the Switch, and for some time, it was the primary reason of owning the hybrid console. Of course, that slowly changed as Nintendo kept following it up with a slew of promised AAA titles and Nindies, aka indie games.

For convenience's sake, here's a breakdown of the results:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 4.70 million

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 4.42 million

Splatoon 2 - 3.61 million

1-2-Switch - 1.37 million

ARMS - 1.35 million

By the end of September, Nintendo has sold 7.63 million units of the Switch worldwide. It expects the hybrid console to outsell the Wii U's lifetime sales of 13.56 million, which took place in the span of five years, before its first year in the market is over, raising the sales forecast from 10 million to 14 million.

It's also worth noting that Super Mario Odyssey is now available, and as expected, it's getting rave reviews from numerous gamers here and there.

Nintendo 3DS's Top 10 Games

In the 3DS's case, the 10 best-selling games for the handheld are pretty much stagnant, consisting of the previous titles with just a few shifts in the ranking and increased sales figures across the board.

At that, the top three remain the same: Pokémon X and Pokémon Y at 16.20 million, Mario Kart 7 at 15.95 million, and Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon at 15.91 million.

Pokémon X/Pokémon Y - 16.20 million

Mario Kart 7 - 15.95 million

Pokémon Sun/Pokémon Moon - 15.91 million

Pokémon Omega Ruby/Pokémon Alpha Sapphire - 13.85 million

New Super Mario Bros. 2 - 11.73 million

Super Mario 3D Land - 11.40 million

Animal Crossing: New Leaf - 11.23 million

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - 8.91 million

Tomodachi Life - 5.93 million

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - 5.45 million

On an interesting note, there are two more Pokémon games on the way, and they're Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. The thing is, Game Freak has confirmed that they are the last Pokémon titles heading to the 3DS, which some have argued to mark the end of the old platform.

Now these are all the current figures as of Sept. 30, and from the look of things, the Switch is doing well in terms of sales despite its relatively early age.
