The Samsung Galaxy S9 rumor mill is in full gear. Just barely a few days have passed since Geekbench results for the alleged Galaxy S9 Plus surfaced, but there's yet another rumor about the much-anticipated flagship.

New Galaxy S9 Renders Leaked

Smartphone case maker Ghostek is now officially taking orders for its line of waterproof Nautical cases for the Galaxy S9. That means it has the final design for the upcoming phone.

Based on the renders, not much has changed from the design and form factor of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Infinite Display is still present, albeit with fractionally smaller bezels than its predecessor, according to Forbes, which first made the renders public.

The back contains much of the design changes, however. The camera has been relocated in the center, with the flash now on its side. Thankfully, the fingerprint reader has also been placed in a much better position, now a bit farther from the camera. On the Galaxy S8, it was directly beside it, and many users complained about accidentally touching the camera lens when they actually intended to use the sensor.

The case renders also suggest that the dedicated Bixby button will remain. This was introduced in the Galaxy S8 as a way for users to bring up Samsung's own virtual assistant. It was also present on the Galaxy Note 8 and will likely be present on future Samsung phones. Hopefully, the company will allow users to have the button remapped, though.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Rumors

Rumors say there will be two variants of the Galaxy S9: the standard one and the Plus one. Unlike previous Galaxy phones, they'll have much more significant differences aside from screen size. For instance, the Galaxy S9 Plus will allegedly come with dual cameras, while the standard model will only come with a single lens. This is a major change, and it likely means that the S9 Plus will be a lot more expensive than its regular counterpart.

The Galaxy S9 Geekbench listing reported recently suggests that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which is the next major chip upgrade from Qualcomm after the Snapdragon 835. It's reportedly 27 percent faster in terms of single-core performance, and 31 percent faster in terms of multi-core.

The Galaxy S9 Plus will come with a 3,200 mAh battery, which is a bit higher than the Galaxy S8's 3,000 mAh. It will also have 5 GB of RAM. The specs for the standard model remain to be determined.
