Motorola is apparently working on a number of new smartphones and a massive leak reveals the Moto G6 series, the Moto X5, and the Moto Z3 smartphones.

The company could unveil at least some of these smartphones next month, at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. No official information is available at this point, but here's what the latest leak reveals.

Moto G6 Series

Lenovo's Motorola could unveil the midrange Moto G6 series at MWC, introducing three new smartphones with good specs and affordable price tags. The trio shares a number of specifications, but also a few differences to set them apart from each other.

The Moto G6 should come with a 5.7-inch full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The Moto G6 Plus is expected to feature a 5.93-inch full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,200 mAh battery. The Moto G6 Play, meanwhile, will have a 5.7-inch HD display, a hefty 4,000 mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Moto G6 will reportedly have 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options and storage configurations of 32 GB and 64 GB and will start at roughly $240. The Moto G6 Plus will reportedly be available with 3 GB, 4 GB, or 6 GB of RAM, and 32 GB or 64 GB of native storage space, and start at roughly $330.

In terms of color options, the Moto G6 should come in black, silver, and rose gold. The Moto G6 Plus should be available in silver, black, and dark teal, while the Moto G6 Play should come in gold, deep blue, and dark charcoal color options.

Moto X5

The Moto X5 leak shows minimal bezels around the display, bringing it closer to other recent flagships from rival companies. The handset will reportedly feature a 5.9-inch full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a fingerprint scanner, and some intriguing novelties.

For starters, the upcoming Moto X5 seems to have a notch at the top like Apple's iPhone X, with status bar icons on its sides, a dual camera setup, and a speaker. The handset doesn't seem to have a fingerprint scanner at the bottom, but a new software button is visible and it could serve as a form of swipe navigation or something of the likes. Alternately, the Motorola logo on the smartphone's back could also serve as a fingerprint scanner.

In-display fingerprint scanners are also expected to grace more smartphones this year, but it seems unlikely that the Moto X5 would sport such technology. Nevertheless, the Moto X5 seems to have plenty of strong suits, including dual cameras on both its front and back.

Moto Z3

Lastly, only a few details are available regarding the Moto Z3 lineup, but it does seem like Motorola is going for full-screen displays with minimal bezels, similar to the Moto X5. Droid Life says that both the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play could come with 6-inch displays with full HD+ resolutions and 18:9 aspect ratios, but a third Later on, Moto Z3 handset could launch sporting a higher-resolution display and a Snapdragon 845 processor.

Both the Moto Z3 and the Moto Z3 Play also seem to have the white software button at the bottom, like the Moto X5, albeit they don't have an iPhone X-like notch. The phones don't seem to have a fingerprint scanner either, but nothing is clear just yet.
