OnePlus is teasing another feature of the OnePlus 6, which hints that the newest flagship killer is coming with a heart rate sensor.

OnePlus is known for regularly teasing its new flagships before their official reveal. While the latest one did not specifically mention a heart rate sensor, the image features a cardiogram that makes out a "6" in the middle.

OnePlus 6 To Finally Have A Flagship Feature

This is the first indication toward the feature, but most fans are already certain that the OnePlus 6 will sport a heart rate monitor. It is a welcome addition to the brand that's been repeatedly dubbed the flagship killer, but it is not exactly a cutting-edge feature.

Many devices today, smartphone or fitness tracker, have had the component for years. The Samsung Galaxy S flagships, for instance, have always had this feature, but the Galaxy S9 took things to the next level by transforming it into a blood pressure monitor.

Nevertheless, its inclusion in the OnePlus 6 will allow it to stay ahead of its rivals and perhaps play on the same field as the leading flagships.

OnePlus 6 Other Features And Specifications

Previously, OnePlus teased a water-resistance feature. Fans speculated that the OnePlus 6 will at least have an IP65 certification, which should make it resistant to raindrops. In comparison, the latest flagships have an IP68 certification, making them safe to be submerged in water for a certain amount of time.

Other teasers hinted at the removal of the alert slider on the left side in favor of the SIM card slot. The OnePlus 6 will also seem to have gestures and a speedy performance.

These and the other rumors will be confirmed once the OnePlus 6 is officially revealed on May 16. According to the company, attendees will receive a mystery gift that might be similar to what was given during the OnePlus 5T launch. The unveiling will be held in London, but for those who can't attend, OnePlus is also live streaming the event.

Other confirmed specifications of the flagship include its internal hardware consisting of a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB RAM, and a 256 GB storage as announced by Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO.

Lau also confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will have a glass back, which should enable wireless charging. The iPhone X notch has also been accepted as real, but rumors and leaks without confirmation from OnePlus should instead be taken with a grain of salt.
