Even though Seth Rogen and James Flacco Franco fans won't be able to see the controversial North Korea comedy this Christmas Day, The Interview now has an almost perfect rating on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).

The Interview as of now has a perfect 10 rating score, even though only a few critics have seen the movie, thanks to 4chan users who are trolling the popular film information site. A 4chan user asked users on Friday in a thread located in the site's TV discussion messaging board to go onto IMDb and rate the film 10 out of 10 to bring it to the top 250. Using NSFW language, the user started the spamming as a way to retaliate against North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

"Despite only watching the trailers, I am giving this film a 10/10 out of pure protest. It's such a shame to know that freedom of speech can be censored based off actions from another country," IMDb user jmcd88 wrote.

Another user, mmorgan-2014 comedically wrote, "To put it in perspective I love this movie like I love my wife, except I'd save this movie from a fire. Before I saw this movie I had cancer, saw the movie, no cancer."

Although The Interview has not made the top 250 list yet (because there has not been enough votes), it currently stands at a 9.9 rating.

With its high score, The Interview now outranks the critically acclaimed film Citizen Kane. The Shawshank Redemption continues to be the most popular movie on the site followed by the Godfather. Both have 9.2 scores from millions of votes.

While users may continue to troll North Korea by upvoting The Interview, we might still be able to see the film although Sony hackers threatened to release more leaks if the film is ever released online or on DVD. Rumor has it that Sony Pictures is planning to release the film on its streaming service Crackle for free.
