The Bugatti Chiron may be priced at $3 million but one can now get their hands on the more affordable Lego version of the supercar.

The Danish company, known for manufacturing plastic construction blocks, has collaborated with French car manufacturer Bugatti to release a 1:18 scale model of the 2018 Bugatti Chiron.

Lego Releases 2018 Bugatti Chiron Kit

Two years after rolling out the Porsche 911 GT3 RS kit, Lego has introduced one of its largest and most complex sets ever as part of its intricately detailed Technic lineup.

The 2018 Bugatti Chiron Lego kit includes a total of 3,599 pieces, which is about 900 pieces more than the Porsche 911 Lego set. All the tiny plastic blocks come together to create a stunning replica of the French sports car.

The model measures 5 inches high 22 inches long, and 9 inches wide when fully assembled.

Attention To Detail

Lego has incorporated the smallest of details of the Bugatti Chiron into the design, including a replica of the 16-cylinder engine with moving pistons that powers the supercar and allows it to achieve a top speed of 261 mph.

The set also features custom parts and a functional eight-speed gearbox with working paddle shifts on the steering wheel, all snapped into a chassis that faithfully recreates the real-life Chiron's suspension design.

That's not all. The rear wing is movable and the position can be changed using a tiny key that one has to construct using the Lego blocks. Each model also gets its own unique serial number like the actual car, which can be added to the replica with the help of stickers.

Furthermore, the doors also open and shut, the steering does what it is meant to do, and inside it, one will find a cockpit that replicates the luxury and craftsmanship of the real Bugatti Chiron.

The model also comes with an instruction manual that doubles up as a coffee table book, as well as trunk space that is big enough to accommodate a miniature Bugatti overnight bag.

Pricing And Availability

The 2018 Bugatti Chiron Lego kit will set one back $350 and although that's not really cheap, it is still a reasonable price to pay to own a Bugatti Chiron that is more than 8,500 times its price.

The set, which is recommended for ages 16 and above, is already available for purchase online and in Lego stores. Retailers, however, will start selling it from Aug. 1 onward.
