The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are among the most highly-anticipated smartphones of this year and a new leak now brings full renders that show off the smartphones' designs.

The 2017 Pixel 2 line drew plenty of interest, but various issues plaguing the devices marred the experience for some. This year's Pixel 3 series handsets are expected to be notably superior to their predecessors, boasting a number of upgrades on all fronts - including design-wise, especially for the Pixel 3 XL.

Google Pixel 3 And Pixel 3 XL Renders

A number of CAD-based renders have surfaced from prolific leaker @OnLeaks, offering a good look at what the two smartphones will purportedly look like. The Google Pixel 3 is shown in a white avatar, while the larger Pixel 3 XL smiles for the camera in a black color option.

Before we go any further, it's worth stressing that these are by no means official renders, they are not images of the devices in the wild, and they are not promotional materials. Instead, they're just CAD-based renders from a trustworthy source with an excellent track record in terms of accuracy. This means that although we can't vouch that the final design of the smartphones will look just like this, OnLeaks has so far proved to be pretty much spot on, so there's a good chance that this is the real deal.

That said, here's what to expect from the upcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in terms of design, based on these newly-leaked renders.

Google Pixel 3 Design Leak

The Pixel 3 design leak seems to confirm the rumored 5.3- or 5.4-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, with minimal bezels on the side of the display but sizeable bezels at the top and bottom.

The front panel further shows two selfie cameras at the top left, and a stereo speaker combo, just as expected. Overall, it looks pretty similar to its predecessor. The rear of the device has a design similar to the Pixel 2, with a single rear camera, and MySmartPrice claims that the handset may sport a metal casing. This would contradict previous rumors that it would have a glass construction, so it remains to be seen.

Google Pixel 3 XL Design Leak

The higher-end Google Pixel 3 XL doesn't seem to stray too far from last year's Pixel 2 XL from the back, but the front panel brings a major change that may not be to everyone's liking.

Just as rumored, the Pixel 3 XL pictured in these renders features a display notch front and center, housing the two front cameras, sensors, and the top speaker. The second front speaker is at the bottom, below the display. The tipster notes a 6.2-inch display size for the Pixel 3 XL, which could also mean an even taller aspect ratio of 19:9.

Nothing is confirmed at this point, however, so take all leaks with a grain of salt. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expected to make their debut in October, so there's still a bit of a waiting ahead.
