Verizon is having an attractive sale on the Moto G6, slashing half off the smartphone's regular price for a limited time.

The Moto G6 made its debut back in April with a sleek glass design, dual cameras, mid-range specifications, and an affordable price point. Verizon just made it even more affordable, cutting the price in half as part of its latest promotion.

For a limited time only, Verizon is offering the Moto G6 at $5 per month, for 24 months, which would amount to a grand total of $120. Considering what the phone has to offer, that's not a bad deal at all.

Interested customers who want to take advantage of this deal will have to purchase the device on Verizon's Device Payment Plan, and the discount will come in the form of $5 bill credits every month for 24 months.

The promotional offer doesn't require prospective customers to trade in any device to avail the deal, but a new line is mandatory. That said, both new and existing Verizon customers can take advantage of this deal as long as they add a new line.

Moto G6 Specs

The Moto G6 doesn't come with high-end specs by any means, but it's a solid handset for its price and category. The smartphone features a 5.7-inch display with a full HD+ resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels at an 18:9 aspect ratio, and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform under the hood.

The Moto G6 normally comes in two variants in terms of its RAM and storage: a 32 GB of storage with 3 GB of RAM, or 64 GB of storage with 4 GB of RAM. Verizon, however, is only offering the base version with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage space, which can be further expanded with the help of a microSD card.

Among the highlights, the budget-friendly Moto G6 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel one. One the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie cam.

Other notable specs include a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3,000 mAh battery that promises up to 24 hours on a single charge, Android Oreo on board out of the box, USB Type-C, and a special nano coating that makes the smartphone resistant to splashes and light rain.

Verizon makes no mention of when this Moto G6 deal is set to expire, but interested customers might want to take advantage of this offer while it still lasts.
