South Korean multinational electronics company, LG Electronics, has introduced its first Android One-powered smartphone line with the G7 One and the G7 Fit.

In a statement, LG said the G7 One and G7 Fit boast of premium features and exceptional prices that will entice customers who are not satisfied with mediocre components and are looking for a smartphone with the right features that suit their everyday needs.

LG has yet to announce the price, but the company's latest products will be on display at IFA 2018 in Berlin this week, where more details will be provided.

"Both the LG G7 One and the LG G7 Fit are designed to allow a broader range of consumers to enjoy LG smartphones with proven and flagship-level features," said Ha Jeung-uk, senior vice president and business unit leader for LG's Mobile Communications Company.

LG Calls G7 One As Versatile Android One Smartphone

LG's latest product runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is one generation behind the current high-end Snapdragon 845 processor that powers the LG G7 ThinQ, Samsung Galaxy S9, and OnePlus 6, among others. Aside from the G7 One, the other Android One-powered smartphones in the market include the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6, and Xiaomi Mi A2.

Aside from its sleek and slim appearance, the G7 One sports the advanced dust- and water-resistant technology found in LG G7 ThinQ and boasts of a 6.1-inch display with 3,120 x 1,440 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio that automatically optimizes background activity for longer battery life. It also has a dedicated button for Google Assistant and carries regular security update through the built-in Google Play Protect.

Available on the G7 One is Google Lens, which provides users with computer vision and AI technology where they can look for important information without the hassle of typing. For those who enjoy music, the G7 One has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that provides quality sound when paired with quality earphones.

Users can also to listen to music without using earphones, as the G7 One is equipped with a Boombox Speaker that delivers bass and audio of conventional smartphones. In addition, the G7 One also has microSD support, a 16-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

G7 Fit Bridges Gap Between Mid-Range and Flagship Units

According to LG, the G7 Fit will serve as a bridge between the company's mid-range and flagship models. The G7 Fit carries the key features and innovations found in the LG G7 ThinQ on top of its value and performance.

The G7 Fit features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. It also comes with a 6.1-inch LCD FullVision display, AI CAM, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound.
