In a move that could change the complexion of the game, Nintendo has included Animal Crossing's Isabelle in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster.

Isabelle, who is the secretary and assistant to gamers in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, will be playable in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when the game fires off later this year. Although the trailer that revealed her as a fighter didn't go into detail with her move set, gaming buffs can utilize some of her skills in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Notably, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been bringing every fighter from erstwhile games in the series. It can be recalled that the initial series only featured 12 fighters and has now grown into a massive number of 70 warriors.

Masahiro Sakurai, director of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate series, hinted that the number of fighters might be lower compared to the previous editions. Prior to revealing Isabelle, Sakurai and his team unveiled new fighters such as King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong series, Ridley from Metroid, and Simon and Richter Belmont of Castlevania. SlashGear noted that the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is likely to reveal a few characters before its Dec. 7 release date.
