Best Buy is offering Verizon versions the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with the savings cut immediately. By contrast, Verizon is also offering a $400 discount but it's spread out over 24 months and requires a contract, as The Verge discovered. Needless to say, Best Buy's deal is the better one to get especially for those who don't want to be chained to a contract.

Best Buy's offer also means the balance of the phone's price goes to the user's Verizon account. They can pay it off immediately or switch to another carrier if so they prefer. This deal will be available both online and in-store, according to a representative from Best Buy.

It's worth noting that the device is still a Verizon Pixel 3, which means it requires a $30 activation fee to unlock the phone. If that's too much, customers can also opt for an unlocked version of the Pixel 3 from Google for $150 off or an unlocked Pixel 3 XL for $200 off. The deals begin on Thanksgiving.
