Veteran voice actor Charles Martinet now holds a Guinness World Record title for voicing Nintendo's video game character Mario for 100 times.

On Twitter, Martinet expressed how he felt upon knowing that he sets a world record for voicing the same character in a video game. He hit the 100th time of voice acting as Mario in newly released video game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch.

The Guinness World Record has made up the category just to honor Martinet and recognize this remarkable milestone in his career as a voice actor.
