Unidentified flying object (UFO) enthusiasts have spotted a coffin-like rock on the surface of Mars. The presence of the rock has led some people to believe that the region of the Red Planet could be an alien gravesite.

Mars has received a lot of attention in the last few decades after scientists revealed that the Red Planet may have supported some sort of life form in the planet's history. Space agencies, such as the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), have already sent rovers to explore the surface of the Red Planet.

Many UFO sightings have been reported by people on Earth. A recent video posted on YouTube, which shows a stone that resembles a coffin, has made UFO enthusiasts raise the possibility that aliens may have been buried inside it.

The image of the Martian surface was taken by the Curiosity rover. It is nearly impossible to spot the coffin-like stone with just the naked eye. However, UFO enthusiasts have zoomed into the image and found that the stone structure resembles a coffin.

Scott Waring, a researcher from UFO Sightings Daily, believes that the object could be just a stone formation. However, he has also developed a curiosity to find what lies inside the mysterious stone structure.

"This stone object looks like a coffin," said Waring. "Coffins are made to stand the test of time, but this one is made from a stonelike substance. What would it take to get NASA to turn the rover around and examine the contents of this box?"

Waring suggests that the coffin-like structure is about a meter long and a foot wide. If the stone structure is believed to be a coffin, then aliens on Mars would be smaller than Earthlings.

The stone resembling the coffin is the only one found on the image. If the area were an alien gravesite, then scientists and UFO enthusiasts would have also found more similar-looking structures around.
