MOQI, a sub-brand of Chinese gaming firm Snail Digital, wants to take on the ASUS ROG phone and Xiaomi Black Shark with its brand-new gaming handset.

What makes the MOQI gaming phone stand out from other competitors is it resembles Sony's PlayStation Vita console.

PS Vita Look-Alike Gaming Phone

Touted as the perfect device for mobile gaming, MOQI comes equipped with built-in physical controls with two analog sticks, a D-Pad, standard gaming keys, and shoulder buttons. The all-new device appears as an upgraded iteration of a MOQI handset that was launched in 2017.

Under the hood. this PS Vita look-alike phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB ROM with expandable memory. It boasts a 6-inch Full HD panel, with a Gorilla Glass 3 screen, and better color accuracy that brings players to a next-level gaming experience.

"MOQI uses the Snapdragon processors as the[y] are designed to give users a perfect balance of power and efficiency while optimizing AI, power, rendering and performance for your mobile gaming experience," the official description on Indiegogo website reads.

MOQI Packed With Big Features

MOQI's gaming phone also features a liquid cooling technology, a cooling system that supports excellent working temperature for a seamless experience. Camera-wise, it has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter.

Other specifications include optimizations for gaming, a do not disturb mode, a dual SIM support, stereo speakers, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack. The gaming phone also runs Android 8.1 OS.

The MOQI phone is tested to be compatible with many Android emulators, which means users will be able to play their favorite console games such as Pokemon or RPGs like Final Fantasy X on a gaming smartphone.

It also arrives with a mammoth 6,000 mAh battery that lets gamers to binge play. The large battery is fully removable and replaceable. MOQI also supports fast charging with the use of Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 wherein the charging time is four times faster than conventional charges.

The first 50 backers on Indiegogo can avail of the MOQI gaming phone for a super early bird price of $399, after which, the price is expected to increase to $499. The final retail price can go up to as much as $699.
