Previous rumors about Samsung Galaxy's 10th edition have been around the web even before it was launched, and it has indeed left little to the imagination.

Now, the South Korean company made things official after it took the wraps off the entire Galaxy S10 lineup during its Unpacked event in San Francisco.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 follows last year's flagship pair, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The 10th iteration has four variants, though — the S10, S10 Plus, S10E, and a 5G version, slated for release later this year.

Galaxy S10 Specs

The S10 variants have some things in common, such as the screen, featuring Samsung's Infinity-O display. It's the usual curved edge display that's also seen in the S9 but only with larger screen real estate — all thanks to Samsung's efforts in eliminating the bezels and veering away from horrible notches — now leaving only a punch hole for the front camera.

Screen size varies, obviously, albeit there's only a tiny difference. The S10 has a 6.1-inch screen, while the S10 Plus has a larger 6.4-inch display. S10E is a smaller sibling with a 5.8-inch screen, also with Dynamic AMOLED display just like the higher-end versions.

All S10 variants are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and have storage capabilities starting at 128 GB. The Galaxy S10 Plus allows up to a terabyte of storage and has a microSD card slot. Also underneath is an 8 GB or a 12 GB RAM, depending on the variant.

The phones are all IP68 dust and water resistant, and fortunately, they all still have the headphone jack. Fast wireless charging is also included, but one notable feature is the capability to do reverse charging. In other words, the phones can wirelessly charge another device by simply putting them on each other's back.

Batteries are also bumped up. The Galaxy S10 has a 3,400 mAh battery, and the Plus variant features a whopping 4,100 mAh power unit. The S10E has a 3,100 mAh cell, which is actually not that bad.

Camera-wise, the entire Galaxy S10 lineup includes more than just one rear camera. The Galaxy S10 and S10 plus have three cameras at the back — a standard lens, an ultrawide lens, and an additional telephoto lens. The S10E, meanwhile, does away with the telephoto and only has a dual camera system. For the front camera, the only difference is in the S10 Plus, which has a dual front snappers for better portrait photos.

The S10 and S10 Plus both have the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the screen. The cheaper S10E's fingerprint scanner, on the other hand, is fixed in the power button.

Unfortunately, for some, the Bixby button is pretty much alive in all the S10 variants.

Price And Preorders

The Galaxy S10 is priced at $899.99, while the S10 Plus retails for a hundred dollars more at $999.99. The S10E is the cheapest among the bunch, selling for $749.99 a pop.

All handsets are now available for preorders and will start shipping on March 8.
